Quantum For Health Design Challenge from TQT
The technology behind SLED was awarded a Gold Award in the Quantum For Health Design Challenge hosted at the University of Waterloo by Transformative Quantum Technologies (TQT) group in 2022. It was recognized for its adoption of quantum tech in monitoring of eye health.
VIsion Sciences Society Conference
SLED was successfully demoed at the highly prestigious Vision Sciences Society Conference in May 2024. It gained a lot of praise and recognition from optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other experts in the field of vision science for introducing a novel technique of visual screening.
49th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2024
SLED's technology was one of thousands of groundbreaking innovations taking part in the prestigious Geneva Inventions event. At the event, its exceptional capabilities were recognized with a Gold Medal, along with the Congratulations of the Jury. The technology also received a special prize from the 'Lucian Blaga' University of Sibiu, Romania, honoring its scientific creativity and originality.
Hong Kong Innovations & Inventions 2023
SLED competed with hundreds of innovations and inventions from around the world and was ultimately recognized with a gold medal for its uniqueness and potential impact in saving vision and promoting healthy aging. The award acknowledged SLOPE's ability to stand out among the diverse array of solutions presented, highlighting its innovative approach and promise to address important challenges in eye care and wellness.
